* As a developer within the crossfunctional team "News to be Smart" you are responsible for the development of our BurdaForward websites and products across our roadmap and strategic thoughts * You´ll engineer and design software components in close collaboration with UX, Design, Product Management and of course your co-developers * You´ll be working on a product and not on projects * Our goal is to create products that people love, work great and have a high joy of use and user experience * Stability and performance are the basis of our products, * We strive to accommodate individual living situations. * You have experience in the development of websites, at least two years of professional experience * You have good knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, GIT and experience with one of the following frameworks: React, Vue.js or AngularJS * You have a high willingness to learn and are enthusiastic about new technologies and tools * You like to take responsibility and commitment for the products and services you´re developing * Java, PHP, Phyton and aws knowledge is an plus, but not a necessity * You´re passionate, have strong problem solving skills and performance and quality are important for you * You are motivated and like to work in a team * You can speak and write in English fluently, have at least basic German skills and enjoy working in an international environment
